My Dear Fellow Travelers: September's Newsletter is primarily devoted to our Winter Wonderland Tour of December/January of 2005.
We want you to participate this winter in some of the most wonderful musical experiences under the sun.
There is no more romantic setting on earth than the marvelous summer palace during the winter season when Russians celebrate their
royal history through musical extravaganzas.
In addition to seeing all of the highlights of our "Indian Summer" tour of Moscow and St. Petersburg, one special event you will be
invited to is the exquisite Tsar's Ball at Catherine the Great's Summer Palace! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience
the splendor of a bygone royal era. If you want to know what it was like to attend a royal function as an ambassador from another
country-this is your chance! Be welcomed by uniformed Hussars. Walk along a carpet entrance to the strains of a military band.
Experience a grand entrance to the most beautiful palace in the world!
Please read the details concerning this celebration of art, music, and history in our newsletter. If you have been putting off that
second honeymoon now is the time to act!
Russia can be cold in the winter but the beauty of the landscape more than compensates for the temperature! This winter, St. Petersburg
will be a magical setting that will give you memories that you will never forget. Our winter tour is the time to take advantage of
music that has enthralled peoples of every country for hundreds of years. World class musicians will sweep you off your feet as never before!
The program offered during this time has to be experienced to be believed. Please read our newsletter and think of what it would mean to
spend this magical time with a loved one in such historical and beautiful surroundings.
In keeping with the spirit of Christmas we are going to present every traveler with their very own Russian mink hat! This is a quality
lifelong gift that you can wear whenever and wherever you travel to colder climes. As always, we are going to every extreme to make this
winter tour the trip of a lifetime and a Christmas and New Year's to remember.
I hope you enjoy the newsletter and that you will join us during this special time in a very special place.
Sincerely,
Michael E. Donnelly, Ph.D.
President
